Las mangos de cajas planas Tapepro han siempre tenido un sistema de apriete manual el cual friccionaba o bloqueaba la cabeza. Como alternativa más económica el mango brakeless utiliza otro tipo de mecanismo. Ya no se opera con la mano gradualmente incrementando el grip de agarre, simplemente se ajusta la tuerca de apriete que se encuentra en la cabeza del mango. Una fijación de la tuerca máxima permitirá un comportamiento similar al que realizaría el freno de un tapa tornillos o nail spotter, así como mantener el control de la posición de la caja cuanto está fuera de la pared. El mango dispone de una rosca interior para poder incrementar la longitud del mismo ( HE-600, HE-1200).

Tapepro flat box handles have always featured a locking screw to increase friction or lock the head. As an economical alternative, the brakeless handle uses this feature as the only mechanism. There is no grip or cam to operate the brake, you just tighten the knob on the head to increase friction.
A tighter friction setting will allow you to sweep the flat box wheels off the wall when finishing joints (similar to a nail spotter brake), and maintain control of the box position when off the wall. Screw in extensions can be used to increase length (HE-600, HE-1200).
